What we hold

The minimum needed to sell you a subscription and support it afterwards: your name, email address, telephone number and country, your order history, and the technical detail of the line itself. If you order for a MAG or Formuler box we also hold its MAC address, because that is the only thing the portal authenticates against.

What we do not hold

We do not record viewing. There is no log of which channels you opened, what you searched the guide for, or what you played from the film library, and no such data is compiled, profiled or sold. We also never receive card numbers: payment happens inside the payment provider’s 3-D Secure environment and all that returns to us is whether it succeeded and a transaction reference.

Why we hold it

To issue and renew your line, to email your login details, to answer your support messages, and to keep the transaction records any business is required to keep.

Cookies

One cookie, which keeps you signed in to your account. It is set only after you sign in or place an order, it contains a random session token rather than anything about you, and it is marked HttpOnly and Secure so page scripts cannot read it. There are no advertising cookies and no third-party analytics on this site.

Who else sees it

Your details reach the payment provider so that a payment can be taken, and the provisioning system that creates the line. Nothing is sold, rented or passed to advertisers, and there is no data broker in the chain.

How long we keep it

Account and order records are kept while the account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards for accounting purposes. Ask us to delete your account and we will, other than anything we are legally obliged to retain.

Your rights

You may ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to erase it. Email [email protected] from the address on the account and we will deal with it rather than send you round a loop.

Security

The whole site runs over HTTPS. Passwords are stored as one-way hashes and cannot be read back by anyone, ourselves included. Access to subscriber records is limited to the people who need it in order to answer support messages.
